Emilio Paolucci is associate professor of Organization Theory and Management at the Department of Business and Production Engineering of Politecnico di Torino.

He graduated in Computer Science in 1989 at the Politecnico di Milano with a thesis on Artificial Intelligence, and took a Master in Computer Science in 1990.

He is the scientific coordinator of Politecnico di Torino and Mario Boella Institute Master in e-Business and associate editor of e-Business International Journal.

He carried out researches funded by private companies, associations of employers and public institutions like the National Research Council (CNR).

His research interests concern relationships between ICT and emerging new organizational model, including:
- effects of introduction of ICT on communications, coordination and decision processes;
- effects of ICT on business models and firms productivity;
- effects of ICT on the transformation of Public Administration;
- relationships among ICT, Knowledge Management and product innovation performances inside SMEs.

Emilio Paolucci is author of articles published in important international journals, including Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce, International Journal of Technology Management, Enterprise and Innovation Management Studies, Decision Support Systems, Interfaces, Small Business Economics and International Journal of Product Innovation.
